Eye Test

Routine Eye Exams

It is recommended for a healthy individual to have routine eye exams. Routine exams are a full eye exam that consist of both a vision and health check.

6mos – 18 years of age are recommended to have their eyes examined every year

19 – 64 years of age are recommended to have their eyes examined every 2 years

65+ years of age are recommended to have their eyes examined every year.

Medical Eye Exams

It is recommended for those who have diabetes and any other autoimmune conditions to have a yearly eye exam. Family doctors may recommend you have an eye exam due to an underlying health condition.

Dry Eye Exams

With increasing screen time in today’s society, it is likely we all suffer from dry eye even when we don’t know it. With new modern technology there is more options to determine what type of dry eye treatment is best for you. During an exam, questions are always welcome.

Myopia Control

Myopia is the technical term for “nearsighted” vision. New research shows that kids who have myopia and a strong family history are likely to progress to a high prescription quickly. There are many options to slow down this progression. These techniques are highly recommended to prevent kids from suffering due to a high glasses prescription when they reach adulthood. One of our brand-new machines that measures Axial Length is the gold standard in determining the efficacy of myopia control.

Laser Pre-op/Post-op

Laser eye surgery is an elective corrective surgery that some people choose to do to be free from glasses. There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle to determine if you are a good candidate for the surgery, these exams are performed in depth. Questions are welcome.

Cataract Pre-op/Post-op

We all have birthdays, and the more we have the more likely we are to develop cataracts. Eye exams determine if your vision can be corrected with glasses or if it is time to consider cataract surgery.
